I love to make things and jewelry is one of my favorite things to make. I make handcrafted one-of-a-kind designs, specializing in handmade "turquoise" beads, which I call Turquoise Treasures. My handcrafted turquoise is really unique and a work of art in itself. As a matter of fact, I have won two First Place ribbons for my "turquoise" - one in 2008 and the second in 2019. I make all sorts of other jewelry. Each piece is as unique as the individual wearing it. I only have a few collections that have similar pieces, one being my Awareness Jewelry Collection. This collection is dedicated to raising money for certain charities and helping raise awareness.
An example is my Cancer Awareness jewelry. I make bracelets and jewelry sets in colors representing the various types of cancer. Seventy-five percent of the proceeds from this jewelry goes to The American Cancer Society. Another awareness line is my Lupus Awareness jewelry, of which forty-five percent of the proceeds goes to the Georgia Chapter of the Lupus Foundation and forty-five percent goes to the Arthritis Foundation.
